CEMI received the approval of a Farm to School grant from the United States Department of Agriculture to develop an event were farmers, high school teachers, procurements and government agencies unite in order to begin the movement in different sectors of the island.

Prize (25K) is won in the Puerto Rico Big Idea Challenge (PR-BIC), funded by the Hispanic Federation and the Banco Popular Foundation for the conceptualization of the Multisectoral Agribusiness Circuit.
