FARM TO SCHOOL
CEMI received the approval of a Farm to School grant from the United States Department of Agriculture to develop an event were farmers, high school teachers, procurements and government agencies unite in order to begin the movement in different sectors of the island.
BIG IDEA CHALLENGE
Prize (25K) is won in the Puerto Rico Big Ideas Challenge (PR-BIC), funded by the Hispanic Federation and the Banco Popular Foundation for the conceptualization of the Multisectoral Agribusiness Circuit.
SABE
Department of Justice approves the proposal of Servicios de Apoyo al Bienestar del Envejeciente known as SABE. The program has two offices in the municipalities of Mayaguez and Orocovis.
CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH
INOVAA has been working with a proposal approved by the Department of Education. This program offers adult education program including conversational English to improve employment opportunities.
